- Peptide to Neuromedin C, Human, Porcine, Canine. The decapeptide Neuromedin C was initally isolated from porcine spinal cord and canine intestinal muscle. It is identical with the gastrin-releasing peptide (GRP 18-27) and shows bombesin-like activities as well. Neuromedin-C acts as stimulator of amylase release in the same mannor as GRP-27 but Neuromedin-C was twofold more potent. 1120.3.
