Description
NERP-1 (Human) is an Endogenous Suppressor of Vasopressin Release and a modulator in body fluid homeostasis. This novel neuroendocrine regulatory peptide is derived from the neurosecretory protein. The bioactivity of NERP-1 (Human) is strongly depended to the carboxy-terminal amidation. NERP1 peptide are responsible to a variety of physiological processes: a. Modulation of body fluid homeostasis. b. Suppression of basal and angiotensin II-induced vasopressin release from hypothalamic organ. c. They were shown to evoke calcium responses in the pituitary gland and hypothalamus. (M.W. 2679.0) C113H192N36O3. Synthetic Product
