Product overview
Catalog Number
PPH08-0263
Sequence
Cyclo(Arg-Ala-Asp-D-Tyr-Cys)
Target
The Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) sequence is a highly conserved integrin recognition sequence within fibronectin. Adhesion Molecules & Extracellular Matrix Proteins. Hematology. Regenerative Medicine
Description
This sulfur-bridged cyclic RGD peptide is a potent inhibitor of the binding of glycoprotein IIb/IIIa to fibrinogen with an IC₅₀ of 1.5 nM. Furthermore, it is a highly potent inhibitor of fibrinogen-mediated platelet aggregation (IC₅₀ = 0.15 µM). Its antithrombotic activity in vivo may render this compound useful in the treatment of arterial thromboembolic diseases. C(RADyC) C25H36N8O8S.
