Cyclo(Arg-Gly-Asp-D-Phe-Lys)

Product overview
Catalog Number
PPH08-0267
Sequence
cyclo (Arg-Gly-Asp-D-Phe-Lys)
Target
αvß3 Integrin Binding RGD Peptide RGD Tumor Targeting Peptide(Requires Further Derivatization Before Use), The Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) sequence is a highly conserved integrin recognition sequence within fibronectin.
Description
An RGD tumor-targeting peptide, which binds to αvβ3 receptors. c(RGDfK) can be easily conjugated to fluorophore tags, chelators, or carriers. Palecek et al. converted the ε-amino group into the azide by diazo transfer allowing further functionalization by click chemistry. Mercapto groups can be introduced via acylation of c(RGDfK) with S-acetylthioacetic acid (SATA). C(RGDfK(Biotin-PEG-PEG)) where PEG = 8-Amino-3,6-Dioxaoctanoic Acid (M.W. 1120.30) C49H77N13O15S RGD Peptide equipped with a biotin reporting tag and PEG spacers for more efficient binding to lipid surfaces (Requires further derivatization before use)
