Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone (TRH) (Human, Ovine, Porcine, Rat) (0.5 mg vial)

Product overview
Catalog Number
PPH08-0987
Sequence
Pyr-His-Pro-NH2
Target
Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone
Description
Thyrotropin releasing hormone (TRH), originally identified as a hypothalamic hormone, expresses in the pancreas. The effects of TRH such as, inhibiting amylase secretion in rats through a direct effect on acinar cells, enhancing basal glucagon secretion from isolated perfused rat pancreas, and potentiating glucose-stimulated insulin secretion in perfused rat islets and insulin-secreting clonal beta-cell lines, suggest that TRH may play a role in pancreas. The tripeptide amide TRH | Thyrotropin eleasing Hormone is a stimulus for the release of thyrotropin and prolactin. (M.W. 362.38 · 18.02) C16H22N6O4 · H2. Synthetic Product
